Alina Perez at the Fine Arts Work Center

Alina Perez's drawing "I am the Orchid, You are the Sun" (2025) is included in the Fine Arts Works Center's summer benefit exhibition, To Move a Mountain, curated by artist Coady Brown.

 

The exhibition showcases works created by previous Work Center Visual Arts Fellows. The exhibition is on view from June 6 through August 22, 2025, at the Work Center's galleries in Provincetown, MA.

 

From Brown's curatorial statement: "To Move A Mountain seeks to explore the contemporary artists’ relationship to nature, both symbolically and conceptually. There is often an inherent romanticism in the depiction of nature. Each artist in the exhibition takes an individual approach to this unwieldy topic, metabolizing their personal and cultural experiences and understandings to the development of their practice."
