Shikeith has been selected for the 2023-2024 Sharpe-Walentas Studio Program. The Program has sought to support New York's working artists since its beginnings in the Marie Walsh Sharpe Foundation in 1984. Today, it is a juried award that grants a year's working space in Brooklyn's DUMBO neighborhood, Shikeith is awarded alongside artists Simon Benjamin, Gaby Collins-Fernández, Joy Curtis, Luba Drozd, Danielle Gottesman, Jesse Greenberg, Carl E. Hazlewood, Esteban Jefferson, Mo Kong, Shaun Pierson, Shikeith, Elaine Stocki, Jason Stopa, Kevin Umaña, Kemar Keanu Wynter, Oscar yi Hou, and Mie Yim. Find out more on the Program's website.
