Pieter Hugo's Portrait #16, South Africa from his series 1994 will be included in the upcoming exhibition New Horizons. Modern Photography at the Rijksmuseum, opening on June 29 at the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. Consisting of 30 recently acquired works, the exhibition will showcase new highlights of contemporary color photography from the museum’s growing collection, with a special focus on the intersection of art and documentary within the medium.
