Kathrin Linkersdorff's Fairies I / 4, acquired by the Pliadelphia Musuem of Art earlier this year, is included from their permanent collection in In Bloom: Botanical Illustration through the Centuries, on view through Sunday, October 22, 2023. The exhibition presents an overview of European and American interest in the visual splendor of flowers, offering a look at the ways in which the practice of illustration expanded from its inititial inception as a practice for scientific study.
