Hassan Hajjaj's Opal Tometi (2018/1439), from the series My Rockstars, has been acquired by the Museum of Contemporary Photography at Columbia College Chicago, IL. Opal Tometi depcits renowned activist and organizer Ayo Tometi, known for her work advocating for the rights of African immigrants in the United States through the Black Alliance for Just Immigration, and for co-founding Black Lives Matter.
