Ibrahim Said's ceramic sculpture Black Stacked Rings is featured in the group exhibition The Delhom Service League: 50 Golden Years, on view at the Mint Museum Randolph in Charlotte, NC through August 11, 2024. The exhibition surveys the 50-year legacy of the titular affiliate group and their impact on the Mint Museum. The Delhom Service League became an official affiliate of the Mint in 1972, beginning as a volunteer organization that created programming to connect viewers with ceramic works, especially those donated to the museum by Chicago-based collector and educator M. Mellany Delhom. The League dissolved as an affiliate of the Mint in 2022 after 50 years of working closely with the museum's ceramic collections and ceramic artists from all around North Carolina. Learn more about the League, and the exhibition, on the Mint Musuem's wesbite.
