Sarah Anne Johnson's MBFR, which recently joined that National Gallery's collection, is included in HOME: A Space of Sharing and Strength, a group exhibition at the National Gallery of Canada in Ottawa, Ontario. HOME opens on Friday, August 2, 2024, and includes works by Johnson alongside Jimmy Manning, Siwa Mgoboza, Curtis Talwst Santiago, Frank Shebageget, and Pamela Phatsimo Sunstrum. Together, the works included in the exhibition show the global reach of artworks that address local concerns and community matters, and span painting, printmaking, photography, and sculpture. The sixteen works on view in HOME were acquired by the National Gallery of Canada between 2020 and 2024.
