Shiketih's photograph "Jesus Pieces" (2021), acquired by the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, is currently on view in a curation from the museum's permanent collection.
 
“Jesus Pieces” places a handful of crystalline pendants at the work’s center, elevated away from a subject’s body by the back of a hand. This gesture is caught between tenderness and display; a narrative ambiguity that alludes to the unknown motivations of the subconscious.
