Chris McCaw at the Bonisson Art Center

Chris McCaw's "Sunburned GSP#1099(Mojave)" (2024) is included in Line(s) of sight, a group exhibition at the Bonission Art Center in Rognes, France, on view through June 22, 2025.

 

The exhibition, presented by the Bonisson Art Center in partnership with the Bigaignon Gallery, brings together works from 20 artists exploring the boundaries of the photographic medium. Curated by Thierry Bigaignon, this exhibition reflects on the profound role of the line, an element that often serves as the foundation of creation and an obsession for many artists. Drawing inspiration from Henri Cartier-Bresson’s belief that “to photograph is to put the head, the eye, and the heart on the same line of sight,” Line(s) of Sight delves into the rich history of photography while showcasing a dynamic array of photographs, drawings, paintings, and sculptures from the 1970s to the present.
