Nevet Yitzhak at the Museum for Islamic Art

Group Exhibition: Love Stories
Nevet Yitzhak's two-channel video installation "No one but you" (2025) is included in the Museum for Islamic Art's group exhibition, Love Stories, curated by Idit Sharoni.

The exhibition features rare items, including miniatures (a genre of artistic illustration that developed in the Middle East), ancient manuscripts, delicate items decorated with familiar scenes from the stories, and items such as goblets, bottles, and perfumes that were used as objects that arouse the senses and symbolize the passion and intoxication of love, as well as to create a sensory atmosphere. A noteworthy item is an ostrich egg decorated in an unusual and detailed way that inspires amazement at the artist's work. Also on display are contemporary artworks by video and installation artist Nevet Yitzhak, video artist Dana Levy, and photographer Michal Halbin. The exhibition is on view from July 22, 2025 through January 31, 2026, at the Museum for Islamic Art in Jerusalem, Israel.
