Shikeith's Ceremonies (2024) has been acquired by the Columbia Museum of Art in Columbia, SC.
Ceremonies continues the artist’s interest in the metaphysical aspects of water, and its role as both a boundary, a method of cleansing, and an emanation from the body. Featuring an antique West African water vessel, the work connects to diasporic spiritual traditions, ritual, and offering.
