Yossi Milo is pleased to share that Zoe Walsh’s Gathering is now on view at the Institute of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles (ICA LA) through February 28, 2027.
Marking the artist's largest-scale work to date, Gathering transforms ICA LA’s 7th Street façade into a layered composition exploring queer and trans connection, intimacy, and the ecologies of Los Angeles. Bringing together topographic maps of LA and computer-generated botanical imagery, Walsh creates a stunning dreamlike montage of figures, light, and landscapes. Drawing on archival photographs by filmmaker and activist Pat Rocco alongside images of friends photographed in the artist's own garden, the work considers queer histories of public space, pleasure, and survival across generations.
