Takuma Nakahira was featured in the MoMA's revamped permanent collection gallery 419: Living for the City. Nakahira's iconic “Circulation: Date, Place, Events” series was featured alongside works by Barbara Brändli, Richard Misrach, and Nalini Malani. Nakahira, a critical theorist and founder of the Tokyo-based Provoke Movement, which, like "Circulation," was a response to the major social and political upheaval of the late 1960s and 1970s.
