Lesser writes: "I first discovered Alexa Guariglia’s work on Artsy, but seeing it in person at her stunning new solo show at Yossi Milo Gallery was another experience entirely. Her gouache and watercolor compositions are delightfully maximal—filled with playful figures, intricate patterns, and snippets of city life spun into lush, imagined worlds. From tiny portraits to sweeping ensemble scenes, her works buzz with energy and celebrate the daily rhythms, styles, and details that make up modern life."
